This is a scratch area for the various ongoing vocabularies projects.

---++ Vocabularies in the document

One of the open issues ([[http://www.astro.gla.ac.uk/users/norman/ivoa/vocabularies/issues#vocabset-5][vocabset-5]]) is to decide which vocabularies to include in the standard document.  There are six vocabularies which have been associated with the draft standardisation process, namely the A&A journal keyword list, the IVOA AOIM list, the 1993 IAU thesaurus, an IVOA Thesaurus based on that, a UCD1+ vocabulary (though there are some questions about whether that's a vocabulary of concepts, or a set of types), and a SKOS version of the list of constellations. There are multiple informal keyword lists associated with the VOEvent arena (see [[http://www.ivoa.net/forum/semantics/0802/0682.htm][Roy's message]] and [[http://www.ivoa.net/forum/semantics/0802/0685.htm][Rob's]]).  The way to make progress here is possibly to have various people adopt a vocabulary, for the period leading up to the standardisation.

Is this a good list?  Ought there to be more, or fewer?  Volunteers?  The VOEvent lists should be pretty trivial to set up, but would need someone to push them along.
